Monk and Sage are active/passive pairs respectively. Both these classes are ‘one who embodies’. The Monk, as the active, can be represented by ’ one who embodies x, or one who becomes x’, while the passive Sage is represented by ‘one who invites others to embody x, or one who allows others to become x’. While a Monk of Void would be able to disappear into thin air, a Sage of Mind would allow everyone to see the choices that lay before them. The Sage will often give the same type of powers a Monk of the same aspect to others, but this is both a blessing and a curse. While their is much more raw power when everyone has the ability, it is easy for things to slip out of the control of the Sage, while the Monks will always have full control.
Star and Chief are active/passive pairs, respectively. Both these classes are ‘one who demands focus’. The Star, as the active pair, is ‘one who demands focus with x, or one who distracts with x’. The Star mainly draws focus away from squishier people on the team and then dazzles and confuses the enemies that follow them. However, the Star cannot actually do much damage themselves. The Chief, as the passive pair, is ‘one who allows x to demand focus, or one who invites others to use the distractions of x’. While the Star is all about the self, the Chief is about their abilities and about supporting the team. While the Star flits around, the Chief of Breath would use the breeze to disorient enemies and draw their focus away so the team could attack. The Chief is less in danger, but also less in the spotlight. A Chief of Mind would boggle enemies with unlimited choices while a Star of Time would manipulate time to move all around the enemies and create duplicates of themselves.
Spark and Soul are passive/active pairs, respectively. Both of these classes are ‘one who utilizes potential’. The active Soul utilizes the potential of their aspect in order to create amazing things to both power themselves up, learn about themselves, or de-buff their enemies. The passive spark utilizes the potential of their aspect to create amazing things to inspire and buff their team. In battle, these two classes would be fragile glass cannons, who would both be the most powerful, but the hardest to figure out. These two classes cannot use their aspects in any straightforward way. A Soul of Breath couldn’t just blast an imp with wind, and a Spark of Life couldn’t just heal their teammates. However, a Soul of Breath could create a hand out of the breeze to grab an imp and throw it, and a Spark of Life could create a flower that healed the other players with its scent. They can do anything as long as they imagine it. If you think of them as a sentence, the Soul is ‘one who utilizes the potential of x, or one who uses x creatively’ while the Spark is ‘one who allows the potential of x to be utilized, or invites others to utilize the potential of x.’
Since I seem to be getting popular again, I figure there is no better time to release this little small test.
If you haven’t taken the land test, you should either.
A. Go take it, cause it’s awesome.
or B. Go here and take the test, cause you need it: http://www.humanmetrics.com/cgi-win/JTypes1.htm
If you have already taken the land test, you’ll need the 4 letter MBTI result for this.
I have decided to test Derse and Prospit depending on Interaction style!
The 4 interaction styles are these:
- In-Charge(Directing and Initiating). Typically taking quick action and focused on results, they drive the team to achieve the goal. (ESTJ, ENTJ, ENFJ, ESTP)
- Chart-the-Course(Directing and Responding). Typically knowing the plan and what needs to be done to reach the goal, they focus on keeping the team on track. (ISTJ, INTJ, INFJ, ISTP)
- Get-Things-Going(Informing and Initiating). With a focus on interaction, they act as a catalyst using information, enthusiasm, energy and excitement to persuade and involve others. (ESFJ, ENTP, ENFP, ESFP)
- Behind-the-Scenes(Informing and Responding). With patience and a calm, quiet style, they focus on understanding and accommodation to lead the team to the best possible result. (ISFJ, INTP, INFP, ISFP)
If you are In Charge or Chart-the-Course, you are a Prospit dreamer! Your cloud visions will aid your directing style. Your directing style is also a better fit to having a limited time on prospit before moving to the battlefield.
If you are Get-Things-Going or Behind-the-Scenes, you are a Derse Dreamer! Your informing style will suit you better when around Derse, where you must be cautious and be ok with not being center stage.
Pretty simple! I’m an ENFP, so I’m a Derse Dreamer!
So, it’s finally arrived!
First off, this is COMPLETELY DIFFERENT than the title test in the way this will work. In fact, this really isn’t much of a test. It’s more of a guide to creating a land based on your/your fan character’s personality.
As such, this is not going to give you a straight answer! You will have to use your imagination to create the actual land.
The test instead tells you the “feel” of your land and the quest of your land!
So, enough rambling, lets get started!
reblogging this to spread the word a bit more

That way the tumblrstuck bandwagon doesn’t pass.
So, seeing the personalDNA test has given me a bit of inspiration for a test to help with creating lands! And with tumblr stuck going around, when better to do this?
The personalDNA test is very interesting and comes up with some interesting personality titles. There is one problem- they don’t list all the titles. I need to gather a list of all the titles I can, so please take the test and reblog with your title and the link to the description! The more I get, the more accurate I can make the test.
Test is here: http://www.personaldna.com/tests.php
Edit: Just realized I needed the descriptions too. please reblog with those!
Ok, so I know the aspect part was really confusing. From the moment I had the idea to do this test, aspect was the most confusing and hardest to truly pin down. I’m still seeing things I would want to change. (Immediately after this started to get popular I wanted to switch Rage to Aggressiveness and turn tension into some electricity based power. But I guess it’s too late now.) But, I’ll do my best to clear up a few things.
First, I really don’t like the names the test site gives a lot of the 16 factors. When designing the aspects, I actually used the wikipedia entry, and that explains the 16 factors really well. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/16_Personality_Factors
It answers the question of why having ‘Paranoia’ is considered a good thing- In the wikipedia entry, Paranoia is Vigilance. Keys is all about finding secrets, and to find secrets, you must be vigilant and not take anything at face value.
Introversion is called Privateness and focuses not on being introverted, but being shrewd and good at introspection. Doom is Apprehension rather than Anxiety, which sounds a whole lot better and more open to being useful than Anxiety.
On the subject of those who are Rage and Doom because Tension/Anxiety was their lowest:
Here’s where, at least for Doom, the wikipedia names for the types work much better.
Not having much Tension/Apprehension is a double-edged sword. Being completely laid back doesn’t get much done, and not having any apprehension means leaping into things that might cause big problems later. For these, you are not only utilizing your LACK of Tension/Apprehension, you also have to learn to grow some of it.
Yes, I know, confusing.
On the subject of powers that Keys/Zen/Form/Blaze players have:
Form is essentially alchemy from Full Metal Alchemist. Their domain is Matter and Manipulation- they start with the ability to do all forms of alchemy as long as the Form symbol is involved. They have to know components- and that is what they learn as they level up the ladder. They start to intuitively know components. Eventually they get the ability to create matter, and if they choose to go God Tier, the ability to do alchemy without needing to use the symbol. Since, ya know, it’s on their body.
Keys Player’s domain is Secrets and Discovery. They are the treasure hunters and the explorers who learn to intuitively know where secrets lie- including those in the mind and heart. They are also good at storing secrets away, and can eventually lock away secrets so that no one can get to them.
Zen player’s domain is Tranquility and Balance. They gain powers to even things out, to pass judgement onto enemies, and to balance out disputes between others. They are also, like void players, about unlocking their full potential, mind and body.
And finally, Blaze players control Fire, as well as gain powers in motivating others, since their domain is Drive and Passion.
There’s some food pr thought :). Hope that clears some things up!
Thanks I got Mage of Time o3o now i can call myself that and get others so confused WHOO 8D
Reblogging this because no one saw it the first time around.
Who doesn’t want to know the Homestuck Title they would have in the game?
EDITED: Added more Aspect info, Changed how Rage and Doom work, and added one Syllable Titles!
Edit 2: Added A better 1w9 title, and one syllable ones for different genders if needed.
More edits: Alt titles added
This is something I’ve been creating for a long time, and finally got to a place where I feel like the test is pretty solid.
The Test is 3 parts long.
Your title is based off your enneagram type and wing. You can take the test here(first test/button): http://www.eclecticenergies.com/enneagram/test.php
When looking at your results, it is the first result in the form #w#, rather than Type #.
However, if you already know your enneagram type and wing, you can skip taking the test!
The Titles are as follows (6 are non-canon):
1w9- Spark(alt:Fiend original:Agent) 1w2- Heir
2w1- Maid(male:Serf) 2w3- Star
3w2- Prince(female:Queen) 3w4- Thief
4w3- Page 4w5- Soul (original:Poet)
5w4- Seer 5w6- Mage
6w5- Knight 6w7- Witch/Ace
7w6- Bard(female: Muse) 7w8- Rogue
8w7- Chief 8w9- Sage
9w8- Sylph(male: Lord) 9w1- Monk
The next part of the test is determining what level you are in your enneagram type.
Go to http://www.enneagraminstitute.com/ and click on the number that corresponds with the FIRST number from your title.
For example, I got 4w3, the Page, so I’d click the link to 4- The Individualist.
Scroll down to the ‘levels’ and choose which one sounds like what level you are at.
I am level 3.
The last part of the test is your Aspect, based on the cattell 16 factor test here: http://similarminds.com/cattell-16-factor.html
Here’s where things get a bit complicated.
First, look at Tension and Anxiety. When deciding on your aspect, use the numbers 100 - Tension and 100 - Anxiety for Tension and Anxiety.
(Ex. If you got 30% on Tension, use 70% as the number representing it.)
ONLY TENSION AND ANXIETY SWITCH. They are the only weird ones.
For picking your aspect:
If you were level 1-4, your aspect responds to your highest factor.
If you were level 5-9, your aspect responds to your lowest factor.
The aspects are as follows (4 are non-canon):
Warmth - Light / Intellect - Mind
Emotional Stability - Blood / Aggressiveness - Blaze
Liveliness - Life / Dutifulness - Form
Social Assertiveness - Breath / Sensitivity - Heart
Paranoia - Keys / Abstractness - Space
Introversion - Void / Anxiety - Doom
Open-mindedness - Hope / Independence - Time
Perfectionism - Zen / Tension - Rage
So, since I scored highest on Open-mindedness, I am the Hero of Hope.
After finishing the test, I am the Page of Hope! (Jake’s Title yay!)
Symbols for the 4 non-canon ones here: http://thepageofhopes.tumblr.com/post/14384024069/here-are-the-4-symbols-for-the-non-canon-handles
So what does all this MEAN?
Kanaya remarked that the titles were meant to CHALLENGE. The game of Sburb is all about growing up and becoming the best you can be.
What do the Titles mean?
The titles represent what you need to learn through the game.
Sparks need to work to bring change and to set a good example for others
Heirs need to learn to communicate and organize and work with others to get things done.
Maids/Serfs need to take care of others, even if they go un-noticed.
Stars need to learn to share their talents without getting caught up in self-importance or narcissism.
Princes/Queens need to learn to become less image focused and less narcissistic.
Thieves need to learn to trust others and become less image focused.
Pages need to learn to get out of the background and showcase themselves.
Souls need to learn to focus and expand/utilize their creativity.
Seers need to learn to utilize their intuition to guide others.
Mages need to learn to realize their skills and not get caught up in self-deprecation.
Knights need to learn to stand by their friends and remove the mask they put on for others.
Witches/Aces need to learn to inspire and motivate, as well as stay optimistic.
Bards/Muses need to learn how to spread mirth and help others enjoy life.
Rogues need to learn control and independence.
Chiefs need to learn to channel their aggressive nature productively and to coordinate others.
Sages need to learn to calm their aggression into silent power and wisdom
Sylphs/Lords need to learn to take care of others with their inner strength and power.
Monks need to learn to balance between others and teach others.

Well, where do the aspects tie in then?
FIRST: I don’t particularily like the names the test site gives the 16 types.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/16_Personality_Factors gives better names and descriptions of what each factor is.
So, after looking at your factor:
For levels 1-4, it means utilizing what you are best at. i.e., Feferi, the Witch of Life utilizes her high liveliness to motivate others and stay optimistic.
For levels 5-9, it means growing in an area that you need more of. i.e, Tavros, the Page of Breath needed to get out of Vriska’s shadow and come into his own by growing more bold and standing up to her.
For Doom/Rage, it works a bit differently as well.
For levels 1-4, Not having much Tension/Apprehension is a double-edged sword. Being completely laid back doesn’t get much done, and not having any apprehension means leaping into things that might cause big problems later. For these, you are not only utilizing your LACK of Tension/Apprehension, you also have to learn to grow some of it.
For 5-9, it means gaining control over said Anxiety/Tension: becoming more confident and less stressed.
Other examples-
Eridan, the Prince of Hope needed to be more open-minded to the changes happening, like how the hemospectrum became obsolete. If he had done this, and become less narcissistic, he would’ve been able to better handle the challenges the game presented him with.
Dave, the Knight of Time, needs more independence (Terezi mentions this a couple of times) so he can better stand by his friends and eventually remove his ‘aloof cool-kid’ mask.
Now go! Reblog what your title is! I’m quite curious to see which ones are common!
Hopefully, this gives you stuff to think about! Enneagram and the 16 factors are interesting to look into!
